KIPRED, within the framework of the research project CONNEKT (Contexts of Violent Extremism in the Societies of the Middle East, North Africa, and the Balkans), presented in Pristina the research results for Kosovo, and developed at the macro, meso, and micro levels of drivers of radicalization and violent extremism in Kosovo. These findings shed an interesting light on this issue in our country.
This research project, funded by the Horizon 2020 program and managed by the European Institute of the Mediterranean based in Barcelona, explores the drivers of radicalization and violent extremism among young people aged 12 to 30 in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Egypt, Jordan, Kosovo, Morocco, North Macedonia, and Tunisia, with partners from these countries, as well as the Free University of Brussels, the University of Graz, Rovira i Virgili University, and the Euromed Cities Network.
