KIPRED is pleased to announce the appointment of the Institute’s Senior Researcher Mr. Artan Venhari as Deputy Auditor General. Mr. Venhari will take up the position as of 3 September 2012. Mr. Venhari will, besides the responsibilities of a Deputy, have a special role in further development of Performance Audit.
KIPRED Institute has conducted a study on the level of democratization of political parties in Kosovo whilst identifying the achievements and challenges as well as the steps that have to be undertaken in order to improve the democracy within them and the legal framework according to which political parties function daily.

Prishtina, 10 November 2011. Kosovar Institute for Policy Research and Development (KIRPED) in partnership with the National Democratic Institute (NDI), today organized a roundtable discussion on the importance of cooperation between civil society organisations and the Assembly of Kosova. Initially a research paper produced by KIPRED was presented in this roundtable to Members of Parliament and Administration of the Assembly, the representatives of civil society and other stakeholders.
